The Upper Aubrey Street Gym

Project Overview

One of the last remaining structures from the historic Summer Hill School campus, the gymnasium was long used for recreation by both school systems and recreation departments and hosted many future professional athletes in their youth. In 2010, the building suffered extensive damage due to an electrical fire. Pennant Construction Management, Inc. was engaged to work with the city and its insurance carrier to restore the local landmark. Exterior siding, interior wall panel, electrical, lighting, restroom fixtures, ceilings, basketball goals and a new rubber gym floor was installed to allow the doors to once again be open for future generations of athletes.
