Floyd County Commission Selects Pennant Construction for Glenwood School Project

May 3, 2024

On April 23, 2024, the Floyd County Commission approved Pennant Construction Management, Inc. as the general contractor for renovations to the former Glenwood School building in Rome, Georgia. The project includes transitioning the former primary school into the new home of the Floyd County Police Department.

“I don’t have any issues with their quality of work and project history,” said Floyd County Facilities Manager Ryan Davis. “Our conversations have been very helpful, and they have been willing to work with us.”

The renovations are projected to begin in August with a targeted completion date planned for the beginning of 2025. Pennant Construction Management, Inc. is excited to grow and develop its relationship with the Floyd County Government.
