Cevian Design Studio

Project Overview

After a couple of decades of being unused, Cevian Design Studio purchased the Rome building with the aspirations of creating a functional office on the upper level while showing off their eye for design. Pennant Construction Management was secured to complete the project which included the installation of a full clerestory in the front central office area while also displaying the original wood and masonry framework of the structure. Restored hardwoods and shou-sugi-ban interior walls create a perfectly match contrast between old and new. The rear of the office features a modern bar with taps looking out on a private roof top courthouse which is accessed through retractable panels of glass doors. The lower level of the building was built-out with franchised specification for a Frios Popsicle shop.
