North Stars Park
Project Overview
During the summer of 2025, Pennant Construction Management was selected to turn a vacant lot into a public park for the City of Rome. The PCM team hit the ground running by immediately beginning grading and erosion control measures. Once site work was complete, a concrete drive and building slab were poured to allow operations for the building to occur.
The North Stars Park building features three restrooms and a covered pavilion for the people of Rome to enjoy while they use the playground. After the metal frame and roof panels were set in place, the block work began. Simultaneously, playground footings were dug and the new equipment was installed. The final touch was the bonded-rubber mulch for the playground surface and the landscaping around the fence line.
North Stars Parks is now home to an after-school program and will be a staple in the North Broad Street community for years to come.
