City of Cartersville Electric Department
Project Overview
Originally constructed in 1983, the Cartersville Electric Department required a new approach to an old space. The City of Cartersville entrusted Pennant Construction Management as its Construction Manager at Risk to transform a vision into a reality. The scope of work included a complete gutting of the building to enhance the functionality for the city’s electric department.
The facility received all new mechanical, plumbing and electrical/low voltage systems. Also included within the project was roofing, a new storefront, windows, cabinetry, upgraded finishes, landscaping and signage.
The project was completed under budget and featured almost a 100% local sub-contractor workforce. This collaboration between the City of Cartersville and its community serve as a true testament to the strength of local partnerships within the Cartersville/Bartow County area.
