White Oak Kitchen & Cocktail

Project Overview

Approach by Atlanta restaurateur Alan Leblanc of Brewed to Serve Restaurant Group, Pennant Construction Management began work on redeveloping a 17,000 square foot front on the corner of Peachtree Street and Baker that had sat vacant for a decade. The building was taken down to its bare concrete skeleton and the pursuit of the dream of this classic southern rooted eatery began. With the use of white oak as its significant ornamentation, a series of various materials were used as completements in each of the various themed areas. The “Barrel Bar” is a cocktail area that can host up to 200 people with the ability to spill out onto the exterior patios. Decorated with actual Jack Daniels Distillery barrels, the center piece of the area is the massive bar resting under a suspended barrel with white Georgia marble and steel as its accents. The “Distillery” is walled in shou-sugi-ban, topped with mahogany beamed ceiling and floor to ceiling windows with stunning views of Atlanta’s skyline. No detail was left unanswered in this Atlanta dining experience.
